Clayesmore School is a prestigious Independent co-educational school located in the heart of Dorset, in the South West of England. Wessex Electricals has worked with the school for over 35 years and been a provider both of new systems and maintenance services throughout this time.
We are proud to have also installed a solar PV system on the roof of the Sports Hall and the Design & Technology department. The team installed 790 PV panels across the two roofs. The solar array will generate circa 150,349 kWh and provide a saving of approximately 64 tonnes of CO2 per year.
The savings are equivalent to planting & maintaining 11.85 hectares of woodland…which is nearly 23 football fields, or nearly 5,000 car parking spaces!
