COMMERCIAL SERVICES

Heating &
Lighting Systems

Wessex provide complete, end-to-end heating and lighting solutions for a huge range of commercial concerns – from urban developments to small retailers, and everything in between.

Business essentials

Having appropriate, efficient and effective heating and lighting is a priority for any business. And, as essential services, you need to feel confident that they are installed and maintained in the most cost effective, reliable manner.

Wessex know that lighting is probably one of the first things people notice, and has a significant impact on the impression your business projects. Lighting is about security, safety and visibility as well as creating the right ambience. Along with your heating system, it is vital to provide the right level of comfort to your employees and customers, and getting it wrong can seriously effect your bottom line.

Complete solutions

From developing a design and selecting the appropriate lighting or heating system, through to installation and providing ongoing maintenance, Wessex have the expertise and experience to help you throughout the process.

Wessex have been providing electrical services to commercial customers for over 50 years, with projects as diverse as night storage heater installation for over 100 Wiltshire Council owned homes, through LED upgrades for 145 communal lights in a private retirement complex, to investigating and resolving lighting issues on the Twin Sail Bridge in Poole. This extensive and varied experience means that Wessex contractors are the perfect position to tackle any commercial project.

Cheaper heating

Over the last 50 years electrical storage heaters have become significantly more efficient, controllable and reliable providing energy saving, low energy consumption, less maintenance and a higher quality output.

Efficient, safer LEDs

LEDs are capable of turning about 70% of their energy into light, making them much more efficient than traditional bulbs that waste a lot of energy by turning it to heat. It only takes a 6watt LED bulb to produce the amount of light that a 40 watt incandescent does, and their lower temperature also makes them safer to operate.

From solution to maintenance

Many of our commercial clients enjoy the benefit of continued expert maintenance following a design and installation. Wessex are now the main electrical maintenance contractor for the Twin Sails Bridge, Housing 21 social housing, and Marks and Spencer stores across the South of England, as well as many other businesses.

Wide range

Our electrical services are extensive and not limited to standard heating and lighting. Through our fire and security division we can also offer emergency lighting systems, security lighting and CCTV camera systems.
