Any electrical installation requires an experienced electrician to ensure that a safe environment is maintained in your business. Our engineers are highly skilled and experienced in all installation disciplines and we are fully accredited by trade bodies including the ECA, and NICEIC.
Switches to circuits
Whether your business needs a new fuse board or a purpose built switchgear panel board, we can design, supply and install anything from a basic two-way single phase miniature circuit breaker board to a multi-phase commercial panel board.
There is no limit to the size of installation we can undertake, be it a new project or a rewire of a legacy system. Your project could be as small as an additional socket, a new IT suite, manufacturing plant electrical system, UPS or a huge fixed wiring and installation inspection and test for a factory floor.
From new build to legacy
Our highly skilled electricians have years of experience in electrical installation, legacy review and rewiring for commercial properties.
Most types of new electrical installation work can be completed in a single visit, with larger commercial jobs carried out in line with your schedule. If your premises have not already been rewired within the last 25-30 years, the chances are that they will need upgrading to bring them up to current standards. The wiring may be potentially dangerous and may not be able to cope with the demands of a modern business.

This leading third party accreditation scheme recognises high standards in health and safety management, where businesses undergo a vetting process examining health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice.
Constructionline
Wessex are pleased to have been members of Constructionline since 1998. This organisation pre-qualifies all suppliers to government standards, and maintain relationships with a range of industry, ePurchasing and Government partners to ensure that they remain relevant to procurement professionals within the construction industry.
Electrical Contractors Association (ECA)
Wessex have been ECA members since 1973. The Electrical Contractors Association includes electrical installers, manufacturers, distributors and end users. It is dedicated to best practice and efficient, effective and safe working procedures to ensure its members deliver the very best service across a broad spectrum of commissions.
National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC)
The NICEIC is the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK. Wessex have been a member since 1973. NICEIC has been assessing the technical competence of contractors for over 50 years.
