Wessex Property Care was established in 2012 to meet the extensive needs of large social housing clients. We have since gone from strength to strength, expanding to incorporate property care and maintenance services across commercial and residential rental properties. As well as managing all quotes and timelines centrally, we directly manage all of our trade operatives allowing us to ensure our clients receive high quality work.

Wessex often deliver interesting or challenging projects, and our work is repeatedly featured in local, national and trade press. From completing newsworthy projects with brand name clients such as Hall & Woodhouse or Brandon Hire, to carrying out complex integrated electrical schemes planning and testing for new housing developments, universities and hospitals – we have done it all.

We are the service provider of choice to some of the region’s leading businesses, sites and attractions and also pride ourselves on our substantial private residential portfolio, looking after the homes of customers across six counties.

We also have long term maintenance agreements with a number of clients, domestic and commercial, and provide emergency call out services to new and existing clients. In 2015 Wessex was awarded accreditation from Safecontractor for its commitment to achieving excellence in health and safety. This leading third party accreditation scheme recognises high standards in health and safety management, where businesses undergo a vetting process examining health and safety procedures and their track record for safe practice.
Wessex are pleased to have been members of Constructionline since 1998. This organisation pre-qualifies all suppliers to government standards, and maintain relationships with a range of industry, ePurchasing and Government partners to ensure that they remain relevant to procurement professionals within the construction industry.
Electrical Contractors Association (ECA)
Wessex have been ECA members since 1973. The Electrical Contractors Association includes electrical installers, manufacturers, distributors and end users. It is dedicated to best practice and efficient, effective and safe working procedures to ensure its members deliver the very best service across a broad spectrum of commissions.
National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC)
The NICEIC is the electrical contracting industry’s independent voluntary body for electrical installation matters throughout the UK. Wessex have been a member since 1973. NICEIC has been assessing the technical competence of contractors for over 50 years.
