We have recently completed alterations and additions to the Intruder alarm system at The Vyne; a stunning 16th Century Grade 1 listed house and estate near Basingstoke.
The brief from The National Trust was to alter and add to the existing intruder alarm system to create new exhibition rooms for the house.
We worked to a specification provided by The National Trusts’ in house Security Consultant and due to the nature of the building and its fixtures and fittings, this provided us with numerous installation challenges, which we were able to overcome.
To assist us in achieving the high standard of installation required in such a building, all enabling works to facilitate the installation were carried out by The National Trusts’ own specialist Contractor.
With the assistance of the specialist Contractor and The National Trusts’ own house staff, we were able to successfully deliver the installation to the high standard required by The National Trust in such buildings.
Following the completion of the project, Helen Sanderson, Manager at The Vyne, said; “Please pass on my thanks to Phil and Anthony, as always, they were all very professional and hardworking, even with the few hurdles that came up!”
