Description of Work: Fire Alarm Installation
Background:
Centenary Quay, also know as Woolston Riverside is a new mixed residential and commercial development by Crest Nicholson.
The 31 acre site, formerly home to Vosper Thorneycroft shipbuilders, is located on the Eastern bank of the River Itchen, in the suburb of Woolston, Southampton. The Centenary Quay development is a large scale regeneration of this maritime heritage site and will house Centenary Quay Tower – Southampton’s tallest building and landmark standing at 27 storeys high.
Wessex Fire & Security have been instructed to install a comprehensive fire alarm system throughout the communal areas of the latest phase of the development. The programme consisted of installing over 300 devices across 27 floors, providing protection for the building and its future residents.
