40,000 heaters and counting!

Dimplex’s in-house heating design team has completed 40,000 projects, marking a staggering milestone for the unique customer support service.

The landmark project is part of a scheme with Wessex Electricals, to replace outdated electric storage heating systems with modern, energy efficient Dimplex Quantum heaters in Stonewater Housing Association properties.

It is the 189th project put through the heating design service by Wessex, who are part of Dimplex’s national network of Quantum Installer Partners.

Tom Chandler, managing director of Wessex Electricals, said: “We work closely with the Dimplex Heating Design Team and we really value the service it offers. The team is helpful, professional, informative and always available to provide the specification details we need to deliver the best service for our customers.”

Don Newman, heating design manager at Dimplex, said: “For more than 17 years the Dimplex heating design service has provided an invaluable free service to our customers and this latest milestone, exactly three years since we marked 30,000 projects, shows how popular the service continues to be.

“In that time we have seen the introduction of new technologies such as heat pumps and other renewables solutions, as well as innovative new products like Dimplex Quantum.

“Working closely with customers from across the construction industry we have made sure 40,000 individual projects have been correctly specified to achieve the required performance levels – and that really is something to be proud of.”
