Wessex Electricals
Wessex Electricals are a family run company based in North Dorset, with over 60 years’ experience in the Electrical industry. Due to continual growth, we are looking for additional electricians/approved electricians. Our normal operating areas are Hampshire, Dorset, Wiltshire and Somerset and we undertake all types and sizes of electrical works within the commercial, industrial and domestic sectors, from small scale renewable installations to full commercial/industrial fit outs.
As a business, we are also currently investing further into the renewables sector and are expanding in the following areas:
- Solar PV installations (training provided where needed)
- Battery storage installation (training provided where needed)
- EV charger installations (training provided where needed)

Basic Competencies:
- Experience working as a qualified Electrician.
- A good knowledge and understanding of health & safety regulations.
- The ability to plan and organise where required.
Essential Competencies:
A qualified Electrician with a valid driving licence and the ability to drive a company van.
Desirable Competencies:
- City & Guilds 2391 (inspection & testing)
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
- ECS Gold Card
- PASMA
- IPAF
