JOB DESCRIPTION

  • These works may include but are not exclusive to:
  • Electrical test and inspections of all areas of electrical works – Domestic, commercial, industrial.
    • Compile detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
    • Required parts lists and works actions.
    • Photographs and drawings to assist in detail where required.
    • Car Chargers, PV and other technologies

 Commercial/Industrial Installations potentially comprising of Metal containment.

    • Switchgear replacements.
    • Control wiring – Heating/Lighting/power
    • Communications & Data installations
    • Lighting Schemes including controls.
    • Power track and similar.
    • Submain power supplies – SWA/AWA/Busbar Trunking.
    • Car Chargers, PV and other technologies

 Domestic Installations

    • Upgrading of heating systems.
    • Consumer unit replacements.
    • Rewires of domestic premises.
    • Reactive maintenance works.
    • Kitchen and bathroom upgrades.
    • Car Chargers, PV and other technologies

Electrician Competencies:

  •  Experience working as a fully qualified trade’s person.
  • Experience working in occupied and unoccupied properties.
  • Experience working in all sectors of core works (domestic, commercial, industrial & agricultural).
  • Understanding of testing and inspection of electrical installations.
  • A knowledge and understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • An understanding of the principles of good customer care.
  • Liaise with the contract manager and others onsite.
  • Follow basic schematics for installations.
  • Basic control of materials for efficiency and accuracy.
  • Spot safety breaches that could be a danger to yourself or colleagues.
  • IT skills using Word, Excel, and Outlook to be able to create, interpret, update and issue clear information and updates.
