Client: Stonewater Housing
Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire
Description of Work: LED Upgrade
Formerly the Salisbury infirmary, located in Fisherton Street, Pembroke House is over 240 years old. The building closed as a hospital in 1993, whereby patients were transferred to nearby Odstock. The building was converted in 1997 and is made up of 52 apartments and townhouses.
We carried out a fast and thorough LED upgrade of 145 communal lights throughout the Stonewater Housing property, ensuring minimal disruption for the residents. The new lights are specially designed to only come on when movement is detected which will help reduce energy costs. Following on from these works, the team completed a storage heating upgrade at Pembroke House for all apartments.
David Singh, Retirement Living Officer (RLO) for Stonewater said “I would like to thank Wessex for providing an excellent service, whilst carrying out works at Pembroke House and Raglan Court, Salisbury. The professionalism, commitment, care and compassion they have shown is exceptionally commendable. Having spoken to some resident’s, the feedback is excellent. They too send their thanks for the workmanship and courtesy, the engineers involved have shown by listening and being sympathetic, where nothing is impossible to resolve. I hope they carry on the excellent works, which they undertake to make our residents safe in their homes”
