Description of Works: Replacement Fire Alarm
Background:
Osborne School is a community special school in Winchester catering for pupils between the ages of 11 and 19. The school was created following the closure and amalgamation of two schools for learners with moderate learning difficulties and severe learning difficulties and moved into brand new, purpose built accommodation in September 2003.
Scope:
Wessex Fire & Security conducted a full audit of the existing fire protection system for the main school and the adjacent student accommodation building.
Following the audit and recommendation, the team upgraded the system for the campus, installing a fully compliant, safe and effective system.
To avoid disruption to staff and students, all works were carried out swiftly by our engineers in good time and in readiness for the new school term.
