Description of Work: Refurbishment of Office Block
Background:
Enterprise House is a five storey office block in Southampton in the popular Ocean Village Marina complex. The contemporary private office complex is home to several companies and has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment program.
Scope:
Wessex Electricals, in collaboration with Wessex Fire & Security were instructed to carry out a wide range of electrical and mechanical services which included:
• Internal and external lighting
• Power
• Wiring of the AC units
• Modifications to the fire alarm system
• Mains distribution
• Data wiring
Working with multi-occupational buildings can prove a challenging project as each floor has a different layout and therefore requirement. However, the Wessex team worked collaboratively with the client and the occupiers to execute effective and efficient works with minimal disruption to those working in the building.
