Description of Work: Installation of Emergency Lighting and Domestic Detection
Background:
Curo is a not-for-profit housing and support organisation based in Bath, Somerset, providing affordable homes, care and support services across the West of England. They manage 12,000 homes and are building around 300 new homes every year.
Scope:
Following a successful tender process, we were awarded the lighting contract with Curo. The works involved the installation, commissioning, testing and certification of communal landlord’s emergency lighting in various blocks and installation of smoke alarms in over 100 homes in the Bath and North East Somerset area which includes:
• Internal/external communal and emergency lighting
• Domestic smoke alarm upgrades
We have been successfully carrying out the works and to date we have carried out 85 installations.
