Project Title: Oakhurst Community First School

Scope:
Oakhurst Community First school is for children aged 4-9 and is situated in West Moors, Dorset.
Wessex Electricals carried out the first phase of a two phase rewire during the six week summer break this year. This involved a complete electrical rewire and new distribution and lighting controls. The team were able to work quickly and efficiently without disruption to staff or students.
Andy Metcalfe, Mabey Francis consultants. said “Wessex carried out a very good rewire including new distribution boards, lights and accessories. The School now has fully metered boards and automatic lights for them to observe their energy consumption.
The School is a difficult one to work in with large roof spaces and artex containing asbestos on the ceiling and high levels around the walls. This was dealt with in a professional manner and all necessary guidelines were adhered to with no incident.”
