Debut Appoint Wessex
Debut is a joint venture between Lend Lease, one of the world's largest real estate solutions providers, and Babcock International Group, recognised as one of the UK’s largest providers of property management services, formed to deliver "world class" one-stop shop property solutions.
Wessex Fire and Security has been appointed as the Fire Alarm Service Maintenance Company by Debut South West with the value of contract at around £150K per annum for 3 years. The work will involve routine fire alarm maintenance on MOD sites in Dorset (Blandford, Bovington, Lulworth, Hamworthy, West Moors), and Gloucester (Imjin, Ashchurch, Boddington).
The work includes providing a 24 hour response with a 4 hour response for sleeping accommodation. Wessex will also be providing a pro-active approach to the contract and working with Debut to provide reduction in false alarms, a review of assets and providing upgrades to systems were necessary.
Wessex shall have 3 dedicated engineers working in Dorset and 2 in Gloucester.
The contract was awarded not just on price but also on the previous work Wessex Fire and Security had successfully carried out on Debut sites across the South.
