Wessex Fire and Security is a specialist organisation providing security and safety solutions since 1984 that deter intruders and protect property and possessions from theft, fire and vandalism. We are fully conversant with all aspects of security such as CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Smoke Detectors and Fire Alarms, our staff receive on-going comprehensive training on the latest technological security advancements to ensure customers receive the best advice and value for money service possible.

We work in partnership with some of the UK’s most prominent names and as members of the Police Partnership Trust, Wessex Fire and Security have gained vast experience and recognition as one of the most professional and knowledgeable security companies in the UK today.   Operating with more than fifty directly employed qualified engineers to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained, we offer a comprehensive service, from the design and survey in identifying risk and preparing balanced technical specifications, to installing hundreds of domestic and commercial intruder and fire alarms and maintaining thousands of security systems each year.

In 1991 we became the first company in the West of England, and only the third in the UK to achieve the coveted NACOSS BS 5750 Quality Assurance Certificate for the installation and maintenance of intruder alarms.  In 1994 we became the first company in the UK to be awarded NVQ Assessment centre status and were just one of eight companies in the UK to receive the new British Approvals for Fire Equipment Award for the competent design, installation and maintenance of fire protection systems.

We have always considered our customers’ requirements as number one priority and have tailored individual requirements with meticulous attention to detail inside and out. Before designing a system, our engineers ensure that the customer is in possession of all relevant information by completing a 36 point customer checklist with a further 82 point checklist during the final design stage. This level of quality through design is unique to Wessex Fire and Security and is fundamental to our continued success in receiving increasing contracts year after year.

As active members of the essential regulatory bodies: BFPSA, ECA, FIA, BSIA and being NSI Gold Certified for Fire Alarms and Intruder Alarms, we are also  an ISO9002 quality registered company and happily remain at the forefront of providing peace of mind to communities throughout the four counties of Dorset, Wiltshire, Somerset and Hampshire.
