Five Rivers Leisure Centre
Wessex Building Services won the £311,000 tender to replace the boiler plant, air handling unit and hot water generation equipment that services the Five Rivers Leisure Centre in Salisbury.
The work was commissioned by Wiltshire County Council via property and construction consultants, Ridge & Partners.
Wessex Building Services Director, Mike Wood, explained; “This much needed work will enhance the ventilation systems within the complex and improve efficiency through replacement of worn out equipment. Also, by adding variable speed drives to our ventilation equipment as well as installing pool covers to retain the heat from the swimming pool we will reduce the overall running costs.”
Work commenced in December 2010 and is scheduled to be completed by 31-March 2011.
