Christchurch Hospital
Christchurch Hospital consists of existing Victorian buildings and over the past 6 years Wessex Building Services have carried out numerous modifications to the heating, domestic water, ventilation, lighting, power, access control and fire alarms to various blocks within the complex.
The hospital is a specialist centre for the elderly and invalid patients and as such presented Wessex with a high risk environment which necessitated working very closely and in harmony with the estates dept.
Involving Wessex who has many years experience and numerous building service capabilities at their disposal was a prime factor in the estates department selection process. Work is continuing on this site for additional works that are programmed with the NHS and the estates dept and these are likely to continue for the next 4 years.
