Administrator - Wessex Fire and Security, Shaftesbury

Wessex Fire & Security are a family run company based in Dorset, with over 30 years' experience in the Fire & Security business both in domestic and commercial settings. We are looking for an administrator to join our Service team.

Based at our head office in Shaftesbury, you will be liaising with engineers and customers to ensure we exceed our clients' expectations. This nature of this role requires a focussed individual with a high attention to detail and the ability to multi task. Reporting to the Service Administration Manager, you will be raising engineer’s documentation before a job commences and completing the administration process, including certification at the end of a job.

Main Duties & responsibilities:

  • Handling inbound calls from our customers and directing them to the correct department.
  • Scanning, storing, updating and saving records.
  • Invoicing, and producing other documents where required.
  • Liaising with the various coordination teams.
  • Dealing with various service related tasks such as change of ownership, new contracts and general correspondence with service customers.

Essential competencies:

  • Previous administration experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent ability to organise and prioritise workload effectively to meet targets.
