We are looking to recruit a full-time Support Engineer to join our busy IT department. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, have a positive approach, be a team player and have excellent communication skills.
Responsible to Steve Wilkinson, Director of ICT
Hours of work 40 hours per week between the hours of 8am and 6pm
Working within a team of 3 a summary of the core duties & responsibilities are as follows:
• Full support of key business software (training provided)
• Technical support of internal PC’s/ field tablet PC’s
• Telephone Support for remote work force (approx 150)
• Support of MS operating systems and office

Familiar with Microsoft Windows XP-7

Familiar with PC's/laptops (Upgrading and fault finding)

Vmware knowledge

Mobile Phones / Bluetooth and GPRS/3G understanding

We require a qualified Electrical Contracts Manager to work on responsive and planned maintenance contracts. Candidates must be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. Previous management experience and an understanding of SOR framework contracts will be advantageous.
As a Contract Manager you will assist (alongside an existing manager) in the management and day to day operation of our responsive/maintenance electrical division. The role requires ability to manage field based engineers across the south of England. Ability to manage jobs from initial receipt of order through to invoice will be important alongside experience on working and invoicing with SOR
Codes. The position will be based from our office in Shaftesbury.
