New £2 million Raglan Housing Contract

Wessex have won the Raglan Tender published in the OJEC for the replacement and upgrading of storage heaters. This high volume contract that consists of replacing and upgrading storage heaters across the Raglan Housing stock is estimated to last 12 months and is valued around £2 million.

Some of this work will be sub-contracted to the Wessex subsidiary company (Wiltshire and Willey Electrical Contractors) based in Andover and incorporates the supplier, Dimplex, who have enjoyed a long term successful relationship with Wessex. Raglan owns and manages over 11,000 affordable low cost homes in over one hundred local authority areas.

Wessex Electricals Director, Gordon Green commented; “We are again very pleased to have worked hard to secure the confidence of Raglan Housing and win this comprehensive OJEC tender.  This is an area of specialised work that we have demonstrated over many years our capability and commitment to exceed customer expectations.”
