Clayesmore School

Clayesmore School is a large Independent School founded in 1896 by the renowned educationalist Alexander Devine in Enfield Middlesex. The School moved to the village of Iwerne Minster in 1933, taking over a large estate and house designed by Alfred Waterhouse the celebrated Architect who also designed the Natural History Museum in Kensington.

Wessex Electricals have been associated with Clayesmore for over 20 years and have been providing all major electrical contracting work to the School since 1997. During this time they have carried out planned maintenance throughout both Schools and have been on emergency call-out duty.

The numerous contracts within the School include the following: -

•    Design and installation of electrical and fire alarm installations to a new two-storey Science block.
•    Complete rewiring of Headmasters House.
•    Design and installation of wiring and lighting to a new computer suite.
•    Design and installation of emergency lighting in the main dormitories.
•    Design and installation of a new lighting scheme to the main entrance and hallways.
•    Testing and inspection of electrical installation and emergency lighting throughout the school on a rolling programme.
